1957 IH Metro Step Van Project!

Here is a old International Harvester Metro treasure we found! Restoration underway. Future retirement goal is to turn this great piece of history in to a mobile Juice-a-delic Juice Van.

Giving her some TLC tune up…replacing the distributor cap and wires.

The day she arrived all the way from the state of Wa.

She arrived on a flatbed April 2018.

Husband is like a kid in a candy store…Love tinkering and making things come to life.

We replaced the condenser, coil, rebuild the carburetor , set timing, changed spark plugs, etc.

Engine side cover, cleaned added a new gasket.

My First oil change EVER…Yes I did it on this beast. Ha…

My teacher …love learning about cars, engines, getting my hands dirty. Tomboy at heart.

we pulled the radiator to flush.

the radiator was soldered from end to end.

Added a new freeze plug.

Rebuilding the carburetor.

Time for an oil change - new filter.

Painted the valve cover and oil cap.
